Saju Navodaya (Pashanam Shaji) is best known for his comedy roles. Now the comedian is turning into a writer. Saju will turn scriptwriter for a debut director-Thufail Ponnani. Thufail has worked as associate director for many known names including Pramod Pappan. He has also directed a number of music videos.

Saju’s script will give importance to comedy. He has scripted for many Television programmes before, but haven’t yet done a movie. Saju Navodaya himself will play the lead character in the movie. The movie will be produced by Vijayakumar Pilakkad under the banner of Vishnu Vishal productions. Badusha will be the production controller of the film. The pre-production works of the movie is already underway.
