NEW DELHI: BJP is preparing for the second stage of their protests regarding Sabarimala issue following state general secretary K Surendran's arrest. The central leadership has given directions to start the protests after December 7. Many leaders including national president Amit Shah will reach Kerala.
Central leadership has assessed that the decision to shift the protests to Thriuvananthapuram has cost the party an advantage in the protests. BJP has decided to hold hartals, marches and fasting as protest methods.
There is a growing resentment within the party that there were no strong opposition from the party against Surendran's arrest. Therefore, it has been directed to hold state-wide protests against Surendran's arrest.
