THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former police chief T P Senkumar is all set to move the Kerala High Court against the Pinarayi Vijayan government. The government had filed an affidavit against Senkumar alleging that the officer had harassed Nambi Narayanan in the ISRO spy case. Senkumar is moving the court stating that the government is trying to mislead the court. As all the fake cases filed against me have been rejected, the government is trying to play dirty games against me, he said.
Senkumar had approached the government against the delay in his appointment as a member of the Kerala Administrative Tribunal (KAT). When this was considered, the government filed an affidavit stating that Senkumar had wrongly intervened in the case against Nambi Narayanan.
Meantime, though Senkumar took over Nambi Narayanan’s case as per government’s instruction, he had to return the files as the directive of the high court even before the probe began. If I am guilty, then the then Nayanar government would also be guilty. Senkumar alleged that the present government is trying to convict him before the panel probing the lapses of officials after Nambi Narayanan was acquitted by the Supreme Court.
