THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Women Wall is a CPM program funded by the government says opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala. He also said that the program is a poison wrapped in sugar.

Chennithala also criticized the meeting of renaissance organizations called by the Chief Minister. “Communist party which had nothing to do with renaissance is trying to take the parenthood of renaissance”, he said.

“The government invited 190 organizations to the meet while 80 attended. So the minutes of the meeting should be made public. CPM may form a women wall, but the government funds shouldn’t be misused for that. The government spend over Rs 1 crore to celebrate the anniversary of Temple entry proclamation. We can’t accept such lavishness. UDF will conduct a constituency based rally against such atrocities”, Chennithala said.

Talking on Sabarimala, Chennithala said, “The government is trying to divide the society on the basis of caste and belief. This is against communism. Government’s mismanagement made the Sabarimala issue worse. Protests of BJP also went in vain due to group-politics within the party. There are no basic facilities in Sabarimala. The Chief Minister never visited the place to evaluate the situation. If he calls me, I’m ready to accompany him to Sabarimala.”

“DGP position of Loknath Behra who gave clean chit to Modi and Amit Shah is the proof of an unholy relationship between Modi and Pinarayi”, said Chennithala as a response for Mullappally Ramachandran’s allegations. “Behra’s negligence in the case should be investigated. Mullappally will never say something he is unsure.” , he said.
