ALUVA: The three men observation committee at Sabarimala have made it clear that they won’t interfere in Prohibitory orders and restrictions to maintain law and order. The committee’s primary purpose is to make sure of basic facilities of devotees. The decision was taken at the meeting held at Devaswom Board’s Aluva guest house ‘Dwaraka’.
The committee consists of judges P.R. Raman and S.Sirijagan and DGP A. Hemachandran. After the meeting P.R. Raman said that he’ll visit Sabarimala tomorrow in order to evaluate the facilities.
“The priority is to make sure of toilet facilities and food for devotees round the clock. Devaswom Board have given their inputs on the facilities. They mainly mentioned about matters for next year. We will check whether barricades are causing difficulties to the devotees. The restrictions should be relaxed in order to bring more devotees to the shrine. Our primary aim is to implement the directions of the court”, said P.R. Raman.
Travancore Devaswom Board members headed by President A. Padmakumar were present in the meeting. “The discussions went well”, said Padmakumar.
