ALAPPUZHA: Sabarimala tantris don’t even have the vigor of stray donkeys, says Minister G. Sudhakaran. He was speaking after inaugurating the 125th anniversary meet of the historic ‘Villuvandi Yatra’ organized by All Kerala Cheramar Hindu Mahasabha.

“I doubt the presence of Ayyappa where tantris are present. The tantri who proclaimed that he’ll close the shrine if the customs are broken, has no loyalty towards Ayyappa. There is no faith and spirituality for them. At Sabarimala, donkeys work harder than anybody. Even they haven’t made the temple a place for conflict. The conflicts are all part of dirty politics. The government tried to implement the SC verdict, because they are responsible. The government is not forcing anyone to visit Sabarimala. Only devotees need to visit the shrine", Sudhakaran said.
