THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has come forward denying the allegations that the police is behaving in a revengeful manner against BJP state general secreatry K Surendran. "There are 15 cases against Surendran. Three cases are currently being investigated. Surendran is being presented in the courts on the basis of warrants. The allegations that the police behaves in a revengeful manner against Surendran are baseless", Chief Minister informed this as a replyto the submission filed by O Rajagopal MLA.

Meantime, Surendran filed a bail plea in the High Court in connection with the case of blocking a 52-year old woman at Sabarimala. Earlier, Pathanamthitta court had denied bail to Surendran regarding this case. Surendran was not released from the jail as there are several existing cases against him.
