THIRUVANNATHAPURAM: O Rajagopal MLA has said after Sabarimala, Pinarayi government’s next aim is Sivagiri pilgrim centre and that is why it decided to form women wall on January 1 (the day when Sivagiri pilgrimage happens) itself.

Rajagopal was inaugurating the second day of the indefinite fast being held by BJP leader A N Radhakrishnan, seeking withdrawal of Prohibitory orders in Sabarimala, arranging basic facilities for Ayyappa devotees and withdrawal of cases against BJP leader K Surendran.

“The CPM is a party capable of creating splits in other political parties. The strike being held by three UDF MLAs in front of the Assembly is a farce,” he said.

Complementing the fast, actor-MP Suresh Gopi said that the government had destroyed the equilibrium of Sabarimala. “The apex court should assess the acts of adharma that have happened after the deliverance of the apex court order.”

BJP State vice president P P Vava chaired the meeting. General secretaries Shobha Surendran, M T Ramesh, director Rajasenan, Mani S Pilla, V K Sajeevan, C Sivankutty, J R Padmakumar, Kulanada Asokan among others took part in the meeting. BJP district president S Suresh gave the welcome address.
