THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Supreme Court had the other days asked the high courts of Kerala and Bihar to complete the trial of criminal cases against MLAs and MPs in their respective states.
If we check the number of cases against MLAs and MPs in these two states, Kerala is no way better.
In the State’s nine districts, there are 312 cases against people’s representatives.
The minister with most number of criminal cases against him is Devaswom Board minister Kadakampally Surendran. Till now, 24 cases have been registered against him.
Among the MLAs, Antony John leads the group with 18 cases against him. There are also murder cases against Minister M M Mani, and MLAs M Noushadh and T V Rajesh.
