THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition walked out of the Assembly hall during the adjournment motion protesting the delay of flood relief for the affected.

V.D. Satheesan, who presented the adjournment motion criticised the government for their flawed rescue operations. “At least 20% of the flood affected people didn’t receive the grant of Rs 10,000”, Satheesan said. There were steamy exchanges between the parties after this, which was followed by the walk out of the opposition headed by opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala.
