KOCHI: The High Court has asked the government about Surendran's custody. The court asked for how many days the government plans to hold Surendran under custody. The court also asked whether Surendran is the only member of the party and pointed that there are several cases against some of the ministers as well. The court asked this while considering Surendran's bail plea. The court postponed the hearing for Friday.

Meantime, the court also harshly criticized K Surendran. The court pointed that Surendran's actions cannot be justified and he should not have done such things as he holds a respectable position.

The government opposed Surendran's bail plea. They argued that Surendran took the law into his hands and said that he had not visited as a devotee. Government also informed the court that Surendran did not respect the government decision. The court postponed the hearing following this.
