THALASSERY: A woman pulled the alarm chain of Chennai-Mangalore superfast express after she was unable to find her 19-year old daughter when the train left Thalassery station. 19-year old Sandhya Baburaj, daughter of Subha had gone missing from Athi Parambath House in Mannoor, Kozhikode. The incident happened at 5:30 am. Sandhya had gone to the bathroom but did not came back. Her mother, Subha got down from the train crying and a woman noted this and informed the matter to Thalassery station master. Train continued its journey after a search conducted by RPF officers. Subha was travelling to her sister’s house in Mangalore after finding Sandhya’s affair. Police suspect that Sandhya went with her boyfriend after getting down at Thalassery. The train was stopped at Koduvally station for 6 minutes and traffic was interrupted.
