THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Intelligence report prepared by the Kerala police has revealed that a Hindu organization in Tamil Nadu is planning to bring women to Sabarimala before the end of pilgrimage season this year. ADGP Anil Kanth handed over the report to Kottayam and Pathanamthitta SPs who are in charge of security in Nilakkal, Pampa and Sannidhanam. However, they have not clarified anything about the exact date of their arrival.Women will be brought to Sabarimala under the leadership of 'Hindu Makkal Kakshi'. They are planning to enter Vavar mosque in Erumeli initially. The report also says that they might attempt to enter Sannidhanam as well. 40 women will be brought to Sabarimala in the first stage under the leadership of Arjun Sambath, state president of 'Hindu Makkal Kakshi' and Somu Rajasekhar, president of Thiruvallur HMK unit. More people are likely to arrive in Sabarimala in the coming days.The police assess that situations may intensify at Sabarimala since they are trying to enter Vavar mosque as well. ADGP has directed to beef up the security and to take all the necessary precautions. The police have also raised suspicions that several Hindu organizations are behind this. The workers of ‘Hindu Makkal Kakshi’ are infamous for murdering many people from Muslim community in Tamil Nadu.
