THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Journalist Sunitha Devdas has said 16-year-old Parassinikkadavu rape victim was sexually assaulted in a cruel manner and strong action should be taken against the culprits, irrespective of the colour of their flags.

"They did all cruelty a human could do to another human. A girl who even had to face sexual abuse from her own father should have passed through extreme mental trauma. A group of people made fake Facebook ID and trapped her.

It was one girl who was subjected to abuse in Parassinikkadavu. Here the offenders are paedophiles. Ensure that they are severely punished and no one should support them," Sunitha Devi demanded, adding that women will again have to fight to live and travel independent here.
