KANNUR: Kannur international airport will be dedicated to nation on Sunday. At 9:55 am, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu will flag off the first flight. Functions will start at 6 in the morning.

Air India Express Jumbo flight for the first flight have already been flown to Kannur from Mumbai. The insides and seats of the flight have been renovated. Those who board this flight will be received at Vayanthodu.

Programme schedule

6:30 am: Passengers will be invited to terminal building. At 7 am they will be received by Minister E P Jayarajan, other ministers and special guests.
7: 15 am: Passengers will be given boarding pass at Check-in counter
7:30 am: Cultural programmes will commence at the main venue

7.45am: Minister Ramachandran Kadannapally will inaugurate the VIP launch at departure area
7.55am: Minister A K Saseendran will inaugurate ATM
8.05am: Minister K K Sailaja will inaugurate Foreign Exchange at departure area
8:15am: Minister E P Jayarajan will inaugurate Malabar Handloom installation at International security hold
8.25am: Minister E Chandrasekharan will inaugurate Food and Beverages Services
