KOLLAM: A beauty parlour owner was found dead in the government quarters. Police suspect that it is a murder. The dead has been identified as 38-year old Mujeeb Rahman, who was found dead in the quarters of a government employee. Mujeeb owns a beauty parlour in Mylath, Kottarakkara.

The resident has given statement that “I was a regular customer in his beauty parlour and knew him. Mujeeb used to visit my place usually. He came drinking and demanded that I should marry him. I am separated from my husband. When he left, I went to my friend’s house in Perunkulam, Kottarakkara with my child. When I came back to my house on Wednesday morning at 6 am, I found his body. He was strangled to death. I informed the police immediately”

The police have sealed the quarters and they have found blood stains inside the quarters.
