State Youth League General Secretary P.K. Firos has openly accepted his mistake in his speech at the closing ceremony of Malappuram Youth League Youth Movement. In his speech P.K Firos had said that Mahatma Gandhi is the Grandfather of Rahul Gandhi, which led to people trolling him on social media. As Firos was the brain behind the nepotism row of Minister K.T. Jaleel, many found this as a chance to hit back at him. Now, through his Facebook post Firose pointed out that he made three mistakes, not one.
“Second mistake was regarding Rajeev Gandhi’s assassination where I said Coimbatore instead of Perumpathur. Then I mentioned the name Narayanan instead of Shankara Narayanan who was the accused in the murder of Seythali, a SFI martyr. This person then changed his name to Babu M. Palissery who later became a CPM MLA. The critics avoided the third mistake on purpose, as they might have thought that it might became a topic of discussion”, P.K Firos wrote on Facebook.
