KOCHI: High Court have suggested not to block the trekking of pilgrims at Saramkuthy after the daily closure of the Sabarimala shrine. The court also asked to set barricades in ways that don’t block the entry of pilgrims to Vavarunada, Mahakanikka and Lower Thirumuttam. This is based on the report of three men observation committee appointed by the court at Sabarimala. As situations reach normalcy, DGP should advise to take right steps to relax the restrictions. But the court also mentioned that restrictions should be re-instated once there is a violation of law and order at the place.
