KAZHAKKOOTTAM: A 14 year old student who went for a round on his teacher’s motorcycle died after hitting a post at Sasthavattom. Sahal Sabu is the son of Sabu and Jaseena Beevi from Mangalore. Karunagappally native Hassan, who accompanied Sahal was injured in the accident.

Following the accident, Sahal and Hassan were rushed to the Medical College hospital, but couldn’t save Sahal. No one had any knowledge about the boys’ plan to take the bike out for a ride.

Sahal is a ninth standard student at Thonnakkal Higher Secondary School. His sister Sahira is a fourth standard student at Bluemount Public School. After forensic tests, his body was buried at Poykayil Muslim Jama Masjid.
