THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DYFI woman leader has approached central committee seeking review of report submitted by CPM investigation commission. However CPM have rejected woman’s request. Meanwhile central committee will evaluate the actions taken against P.K. Sasi.
Sasi was suspended by CPM for six months following the complaint of DYFI woman leader. But CPM investigation committee issue clearly points out the Sasi should be given a benefit of doubt.
“There is no specific date on the complaint even though it says that the incident took place a day before Palakkad district meeting. The complainant was a woman volunteer at the venue. Sasi had called her to his office multiple times for party related matters. But the complaint is about his misbehaviour towards the lady over phone. There is no physical evidence of any such misdemeanour at the venue”, the report reads.
“The complainant is a regular at Mannarkad AC office. After the alleged incident, the woman didn’t complaint to any party leaders regarding this. She is known to be a person with a short fuse. But it took her eight months to complaint about this offense. According to witness reports, she looked happy while volunteering at district meeting”, the report says.
