BENGALURU: Six people died and five people injured after boiler blasted in a sugar factory at Mudhol. This factory is under the ownership of former Karntaka Minister and BJP MLA Murugesh Nirani.

According to reports, there were 10 people inside the factory at the time of blast. Impact of blast levelled the factory and a 3 storeyed building. Four people died at the spot. The reason behind the blast in unknown. As per unconfirmed reports, people are still stuck under the building. Rescue operations headed by Fire Force is in full swing.
