THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Superstar Mohanlal starrer ‘Odiyan’ has landed in one more controversy following its release on Friday. It has been alleged that the movie makers put an advertisement of an alcoholic beverage in Odiyan’s poster. They have put an advertisement of Kingfisher strong soda in the movie’s poster. Experts are saying that this beverage is a beer produced by Kingfisher and allege that this is violation of abkari laws. The crew members of the movie have not reacted to this.

Meanwhile, ‘Odiyan’ which was released on Friday is receiving mixed response from the audience. Director V A Shrikumar Menon has come forward saying that some people are intentionally trying to degrade the movie. Meanwhile, K S Sabarinathan MLA alleged that the movie has racial abuse content in it and said that Malayalam film industry still portray ‘black’ negatively. He was referring to the dialogues delivered by actress Manju Warrier to Prakash Raj in the movie.
