THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister M M Mani has come forward against Manju Warrier, who had withdrawn from the women’s wall. “We had not depended on Manju Warrier for organizing women's wall, therefore, even if she withdraws herself from the programme, the event will not be affected", said M M Mani.
Manju had come forward declaring support to the women's wall on Sunday, but she later withdrew herself from the programme saying that the women's wall had a political colour to it.
Meantime, leader of Opposition Ramesh Chennithala had justified Manju's decision calling it a realization. He alleged that the women's wall which aims at raising renaissance values is actually a 'communal wall'. He also alleged that the government is forcing district collectors and RTOs for organizing women's wall.
