KOCHI: A CPM panchayat member found himself in an embarrassing situation after he posted on a whatsapp group a semi-nude picture of a cinema actress.

The senior CPM member posted the photo in the whatsapp group of district panchayat members and officers, created for official purposes. The group is named district panchayat official.

The post in fact shocked the women members of the group. Nobody knew exactly what happened. Though some members expressed their discomfort, some kept quiet, considering the age of the ‘culprit’.

Shudders gripped the member as time to delete picture was over. Certain members called up CPM members and enquired what had happened. They also had no definite answer.

Meanwhile, the Congress member reacted to the issue in a matured manner. “We are ignoring the issue considering the age of the member. The issue could have been made a big controversy though,” they said.
