KOZHIKODE: A controversy has arisen following the allegations that SFI union of Nirmalagiri college in Koothuparamb published a poem that was earlier published by KSU union in the college magazine two years ago. A poem which was earlier published in the magazine 'Smile' during 2014-15 was again published in SFI union's 'Terminate' magazine during the academic year 2017-18. The poem titled 'Raktham' (Blood) was written by Ashbin Abraham in the magazine 'Smiley' and it was again published in the name of P A Abhinav, who is an activist of SFI. Abhinav is the first year student of B A Malayalam.
KSU has sought an apology by withdrawing the magazine. It has been reported that SFI attempts to publish the magazine by removing the controversial poem.
