KOCHI: The High Court has denied the plea filed by actor Dileep seeking CBI inquest in the actress assault case. Dileep said that the police was partial in the investigation which was going forward on the basis of a lie, and he sought CBI investigation in thecase. However, the High Court observed that his points are invalid.

There is no proof for any lapses from the part of police. Chargesheet was filed against Dileep after filing chargesheets against seven other accused directly involved in the case. Dileep's advocate had also argued that the video was forged. Single bench clarified that this should be evaluated by the review bench.
