KATTAPPANA: Former Chief Minister of Kerala and the present AICC General Secretary, Oommen Chandy has been hospitalized following chest pain. Chandy's health condition is satsifactory, says the doctors. He is in ICU of a private hospital in Thoduppuzha.

Chandy was due to participate in a program organized by Idukki Congress Committee. While having food at a resort in Thoduppuzha, Chandy felt discomfort and was rushed to the nearby private hospital. After primary tests, doctors didn't find any serious health disorders. Several Congress leaders and workers visited the hospital after receving news.
