KOCHI: Appoint temporary conductors in Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), ordered the Kerala High Court. If law permits, necessary appointments can be made through employment exchange. The interim order was released while considering the pleas of PSC candidates and the empaneled conductors.

The order has clearly clarified that appointments other than PSC are contrary to the Constitution. However, the court has informed that KSRTC can make appointments via employment exchange to solve the present crisis. Meantime, if law permits, they can appoint the empanelled conductors terminated by the state government. However, the court does not approve to take all the terminated employees.
