MAVELIKKARA: BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai said that BJP will have more good opprtunities in Sabarimala issue. He was inaugurating the minority morcha district meet in Alppuzha.
"I am saying this because I am the state president of BJP. I stand by what I said in the Yuva Morcha programme. The women's group who tried to visit Sabarimala is backed by SDPI. The law and order is a matter of the state, then how can Kerala police go to Tamil Nadu for providing protection to the women? This plan is set by the government in order to sabotage the rituals and customs at Sabarimala. We will stand by the devotees to protect Sabarimala", said Pillai.
Minority morcha Alappuzha district president Rajan K Matthew presided over the function. BJP district predident K Soman, state president Noble Mathew, central waqf board council member T O Noushad, M V Gopakumar, S Sudheer, K K Anoop, Anil Vallikunnam and Anil George participated in the function.
