KOCHI: ‘Ayyappa Jyothi’ organized by Sabarimala Karma Samithi will be held on Tuesday. The confluence will be a 764 km long movement from Hosangadi in Kasaragod to Kanyakumari. Devotees will line up holding lamps from Hosangadi to Angamali at National Highway. They will line up from Angamaly to Moovattupuzha at M.C. road. The confluence will take the route via Moovattupuzha-Thodupuzha-Pala-Ettumanoor-Kottayam-Panthalam-Kottarakkara to Thiruvananthapuram. From the state capital, the ‘Jyothi’ will move towards Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
As part of the confluence, 250 ‘Faith Protection’ conventions will be staged in Kerala, while 65 of those will be held in Tamil Nadu. Swami Yogendra Saraswathy will hand over lamp in Hosangadi while Suresh Gopi will do the same in Kaliyikkavila. The confluence will start by 4.30 p.m. At 5.45 p.m., conventions will start. Lamps will be lit at 6 p.m. The confluence will end with ‘Saranam Ayyappa’ chants.
‘Ayyappa Jyothi’ will be staged in 12 other states.
