THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Balakrishna Pillai, chairman of Kerala Congress (B) clarified that he did not join LDF to become a minister. “LDF took a great decision by including my party. When four parties come together, it is almost about 47% votes. We will have a cordial relation with other parties in the front from now on. This expansion will be very helpful in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls”, clarified Pillai.

Meantime, Pillai has also clarified that they will not take part in the Ayyappa Jyothi protest to be staged on Wednesday by Sabarimala Karma Samithi. He clarified that they will participate in the women’s wall.

Democratic Kerala Congress leader Antony Raju said that he is happy to be part of LDF. “Though we had not received a seat in the assembly election, we had given full support to the front”, he said.
