KOTTAYAM: The body of a youth tied to a bike was recovered from a pond formed by rocks. The dead has been identified as Neelamperoor, Erakainadi Wadayakkadu house resident Mohanan’s son Mukesh (31).

He was found inside the pond at Karukachal, Kanjrampara. The body was found tied to the crash guard of the bike with a plastic rope.
His relatives had given a missing complaint to Kainadi police station on December 27.

The body was first spotted on Saturday morning by locals. It was later shifted by police to Kottayam Medical College after confirming his identity.
The police said it was a case of suicide but his friends said that his death was mysterious.
