KOLLAM:Women have staged a clash in Chinnakkada infront of a women's meet organized by UDF. CPM members arrived at the spot as a campaign for women's wall and the a clash followed this. One Congress activist was injured in the clash. UDF members led by Bindu Krishna booed at CPM members who performed 'Thiruvathirakkali'.
The incident happened at 3:30 pm at Bus Bay in Chinnakkada. A vehicle carrying CPM members reached near the women's meet stage and UDF members asked them to shift the vehicle from there immediately. This resulted in a clash. Congress intensified the protest when one of their members was injured. The police took control of the situation after shifting the vehicle from there.
