KASARAGOD: New Year Gift for PSC candidates who have been waiting for their appointment since the last two years as the government published PSC rank list for 6000 primary school teacher vacancies.

Lower Primary rank lists were published four days back and UP rank list was published yesterday. Keralakaumudi on December 10 had reported the delay in issuing PSC rank list.

If PSC manages to send advice memo soon, appointments can be expected in January itself. Or else this could take till June. Government have cleared technical issues regarding K-TET eligibility before giving direction for appointment.

The order reads that K-TET is not a necessity for appointment and can be attained later. However, it also states that the appointment will be subject to the final judgement of the court. Current appointments will be for vacancies reported till August 2016. This rank list was deemed invalid after in 2018 August after government made K-TET compulsory qualification for teacher appointments.

Appeals made by a section of candidates at High Court and Administrative Tribunal have delayed the publishing of rank list.
