KALPATTA: Britto was hope and inspiration for activists during his time in student politics. He was stabbed at the time when Suresh Kumar and C.P. John led SFI. His enemies had only one aim-to obliterate him. But Britto lived on his wheel chair until now. His powerful presence in gatherings is a great memory. Britto was welcomed at such gatherings with slogans. Britto had the same experience which Abhimanyu experienced. He visited Wayanad several times, even on his wheel chair. While visiting Wayanad, he used to stay at C.K. Saseendran MLA’s house or at this writer’s residence. He used to open his heart during his visits. When he faced difficulties in life, he used to say that he has LIC agency for a living. He was on his own. He never uttered a bad word about anyone in his life.
