SANNIDHANAM: Bindu and Kanaka Durga, two women who earlier made a failed attempt to enter Sabarimala, on Wednesday claimed that they entered Sabarimala temple and had a hazzle-free dashan of Ayyappa deity.

"The police helped as enter the temple. At 3:45 am, we entered the temple not through the 18 steps but through the VIP lane," Bindu told a news channel.

The police have however denied the claim and said that the news reports were baseless. Though the police had received calls about their plan to enter Sabarimala, police brushed it aside, presuming that to be fake calls.

The visuals of women walking at Sannidhanam was telecast by a channel.

Bindu added that they informed the police only after reaching Pamba. "The police gave us full protection. The policemen were with us during darshan. The police also helped us climb down the Sannithanam through the VIP lane. The police had offered us to help us enter the temple if we managed to reach Pamba," she said.
