PATHANAMTHITTA: Four pilgrims from Neyyattinkara ended their journey midway on their way to Sabarimala after two women entered Sabarimala. Babu, Sunil, Subash and Anil who came all the way from Neyyattinkara in Thiruvananthapuram on foot to Sabarimala ended their journey at Erumeli Dharmashastha Temple. They took off their holy chain and left the Irumudikkettu at the temple. Women entry have has stained the purity of the shrine, they said.

Kozhikkode native Bindu and Malappuram native Kanakadurga who were in the menstrual age made entry into Sabarimala shrine by 3.30 in the morning. They reached Pampa and performed Darshan with police protection while maintaining complete secrecy.
