Sethuramayyar CBI is one of the most important characters in Mammootty’s acting career. The first movie in the investigation thriller series ‘Oru CBI Diarykkurippu’ was released in 1988. Later, second movie ‘Jagratha’ was released in 1989, third movie Sethuramayyar CBI was released in 2004 and ‘Nerariyan CBI’ in 2005. The movies were scripted by S N Swami and directed by K Madhu.

Mammootty is all set to come back as the CBI officer once again. The news was revealed by K Madhu and he also informed that the movie will be scripted by S N Swami. The movie will be produced by K Madhu’s production company ‘Krishnakripa’.
