THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Security breach at secretariat following the entry of women at Sabarimala. ‘Vanithamorcha’ activists who came in support for the BJP protest in front of the secretariat managed to reach the North Block where the CM’s office is situated. Police interfered and took them to Cantonment station. This happened minutes before 12 p.m., when the Chief Minister leaves his office. ‘Vanithamorcha’ activists headed by district President Valiashala Bindu, Jaya, Rakendu, Kavitha and Sreelatha reached the North Block through cantonment gate.

Later, Vanithamorcha and Yuvamorcha activists abused the Chief Minister as he made his out of the secretariat in official vehicle. Absence of women police at cantonment gate is sighted as the main reason for this security breach. The police were expecting a march towards the front gate, as they deployed women police there.
