THIRUVANANATHAPURAM: A private channel Friday exposed the clippings proving the entry of a Sri Lankan woman offering prayers at the sanctum sanctorum in Sabarimala temple. The clippings show the woman identified as Sasikala moving with the ‘Irumudikettu’ along with other devotees. She was accompanied by her guruswamy and given police security. She had walked up the 18 Holy Steps without any hindrance and offered prayers at the temple. The police has confirmed her visit. All English dailies have printed the news of her darshan.

Meantime, she told reporters that she was forcefully sent back to Pampa. However, this has led to many doubts. Sasikala who reached Sannnidhanam last night with police security was not seen by anyone later. When asked her husband about it, he said that he doesn’t know. She may have been shifted to a secret place after completing her darshan. The police may have decided not to reveal her visit in the wake of the recent issues. However, the police confirmed her visit after CCTV footages were revealed.
