THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Devotees won’t retreat from opposing women entry at Sabarimala, says Hindu United Front state President K.P. Sasikala.

“They value tradition and faith like their life. Appearance of a deity in a temple is formed inside devotees’ mind. They won’t agree to anything that harms their faith. If they fail in this fight for justice, there won’t be any peace in our state”, said Sasikala while speaking to Keralakaumudi Flash.

Detailed interview:

Women who come to visit Sabarimala are not devotees

Women who come to Sabarimala in the name of darshan are not devotees. They have a clear agenda to tarnish the rituals and tradition at Sabarimala. Do devotees come in ambulance and enter temples secretly with help of darkness? There are many weak old women who cannot visit Sabarimala because they cannot afford ‘dolly service’. Instead of making provisions for such people, Maoists are taken to the shrine.

Chief Minister is with Maoists

A small section of the police force, especially Kottayam S.P. and Chief Minister supports Maoist entry to Sabarimala. This is a land that opposed Naxalism. It is coming back in several other forms. The administrator of the state is supporting this.

Protests will continue

Protests will continue in strong fashion. Further plans will be discussed with the BJP. Form of protests will change from here on.

The future activities of Sabarimala Karma Samithi will be decided in the meeting today. Communities in Kerala are our biggest strength. They will be included in discussions.

It was a murder

Death of Karma Samithi activist Chandran was not normal. It was a murder. The culprits will be shielded by the officials. Cause of Chandran’s death was detailed by the Chief Minister even before his body underwent autopsy. He said about a person’s autopsy report from Thiruvananthapuram, while it was done at Kottayam Medical College. He knows more than qualified doctors.

Why these threats?

Media should enquire about conflicts in hartal. Those who called hartal are not bound to answer about this. Democracy exists in Kerala. Everyone has the right to protest. While a group is protesting with broken hearts, another group faces them with threats and challenges. Why is nobody controlling them? What will be the future of this state if we nurture such a culture? No protest will be peaceful in Kerala if this happens. If the organization have anything to do with the attacks against media, I denounce them.
