THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP have decided to intensify protests after entry of women at Sabarimala. The party plans to form a circle of activists surrounding the secretariat on January 18. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala on January 15. He will take part in the inauguration of Kollam bypass and BJP leadership meeting. Modi will participate in the Yuvamorcha convention on January 27. The party also plans on bringing more national leaders to Kerala.

Meanwhile, CPM-RSS conflict in the state have created an air of insecurity. Police are on high alert following attacks on houses of party leaders. As many as 19 people have been arrested in relation with attacks in Kannur. 204 people are held in precautionary custody.
