NEW DELHI: Central government to interfere in the conflicts related to Sabarimala women entry. Central Home Ministry have sought a report on the riots and conflicts in the state. Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also asked the state authorities to maintain peace and order. The state government haven’t yet submitted a report on this, says Home Ministry sources.

Meanwhile, police sources have informed that 3178 people were arrested in relation with conflicts. 487 among these were remanded and 2691 people were granted bail. In a message to district police chiefs, DGP reminded that it’s not the duty of police to provide escort for aggressors.
