PATHANAMTHITTA: Deepthi Vajpayee, reporter of TV9 channel has staged a protest in front the police control room in Nilakkal raising placards against not allowing permission to visit Sannidhanam. Deepthi reached Nilakkal for reporting three days ago for taking statements of devotees from Telangana. She had said that she does not want to go to Sannidhanam and will return from Pampa immediately.

However, Deepthi alleges that police did not allow her to go Sannidhanam. Deepthi is planning to return to Telangana following the protests. Police say that Deepthi cannot be allowed to go to Sannidhanam because of heavy rush there.
