THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Electricity Minister M M Mani said that women entering Sabarimala is a good thing. He also directed people to isolate the protests staged by Sabarimala Karma Samithi and RSS. Three women devotees, Bindu, Kanaka Durga and Sri Lankan native Sasikala had entered Sabarimala and Sabarimala Karma Samithi had staged a hartal following their entry. Several clashes between CPM and BJP activists were reported across the state.

Minister Mani had earlier said that women had already entered Sabarimala and that the government has the strength to bring about one lakh women to Sabarimala, if required.
