THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Since the arrests in connection with attacks over Sabarimala women entry is increasing day by day, the government has directed the police to keep caution. The intelligence department has informed the government that a deliberate attempt will be made to misinform the centre that the law and order of the state has been destroyed completely. The centre has sought a report from chief secretary and governor P Sadasivam has also sought a report from the chief minister regarding the law and order.

Though there were no reports of attacks from the southern deistricts on Friday, situation in the northern districts were not as calm.

BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao had said that “Mob violence has been unleashed by the CPI-M. We want CPI-M to stop all this at the earliest. They are attacking our leaders residing in different parts of the country". The government says that the attacks staged by BJP activists will be opposed strongly. The government will give an explanation to the governor P Sadashivam once he reach back from Madras IIT. M V Jayarajan, private secretary of the Chief Minister told 'Kerala Kaumudi' that strong action was taken against the attackers and that the whole situation is under control.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has directed DGP Loknath Behra to take action against attackers immediately.
