THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Several clashes have been reported across the state on the day of hartal called by Sabarimala Karma Samithi following women’s entry to Sabarimala temple. Thrithala MLA V T Balram has come forward against Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM. CPM is trying to create clashes and attacks over the state like BJP by playing vote bank politics and nurturing communalism.

CPM branch secretary was remanded in connection with pelting stones at a mosque in Perambra. Balram harshly criticised this as well. “Peace is more important than renaissance”, said Balram. CPM branch secretary Athul Das was remanded on Sunday morning. The police said that everyone including Athul Das were attempting to create a clash in the area.
