THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: National strike of 48 hours called by Central Trade Unions will start from 12 a.m. on Monday. Labour unions are planning to make it the biggest strike.

Even though the leaders of organization voice out that vehicles won’t be stopped, in all chance this might turn out to be another hartal as more than labour organizations are part of the strike. Rail transport is likely to be attacked.

Trains will be blocked by 5 a.m at main centres like Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram. Official inauguration of strike is at 10.30 a.m. Workers will protest at the south gate of secretariat. Labourers from other districts will part in protests in respective places.
