THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Hindu Aikya Vedi leader K P Sasikala clarified that she has never told anyone that she would commit suicide if young women enter Sabarimala. Sasikala also said that the chief minister should come forward with solid proof about such a statement. She said this on her Facebook post.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had earlier mocked Sasikala about her statement and she came forward with the clarification following this.

"I am not afraid to commit suicide, but my party has taught me to fight. 'Dharma' will attain the ultimate victory. Therefore I don't use the lanuage of a coward. Yesterday, chief minister said such things about me just for applause", said Sasikala.

"I have never said that I will commit suicide when women enter Sabarimala. I said that I will even give my life to stop women from entering Sabarimala. That is why the government removed me from the Marakkoottam. CM should come forward with the video proof without any edits", she added.
