KOCHI: Kerala High Court enquired whether there is any hidden agenda behind the women’s entry to Sabarimala. The court also asked whether any external organizations are involved in this. This should be investigated by an external agency, directed the devaswom division bench.
Sabarimala observation committee had submitted a report regarding the approval of private vehicle transport for the ‘Manithi’ group on the Nilakkal – Pampa route. Meantime, the government had submitted a counter affidavit saying that this was done for the security of these women devotees. The court will consider the case again on next Wednesday.
Advocate general clarified that the court has not banned private vehicles on Nilakkal-Pampa route and that the court simply accepted the government decision.
